EdTech is still in the early stages of its development. However, it shows promise as a method of customizing a curriculum for a student’s ability level by introducing and reinforcing new content at a pace the student can handle. In fact, according to Statista, in 2025 worldwide spending on EdTech will increase dramatically in several key segments. Expenditure on augmented and virtual reality is forecasted to increase from 1.6 billion US dollars in 2018 to 12.6 billion in 2025.

This influx of edtech tools are changing classrooms in a variety of ways. Edtech robots are making it easy for students to stay engaged through fun forms of learning. Many of them are cloud based. They pull on educational research to set algorithms. This shows how slowly or rapidly to advance a student, along different learning objectives. The way we learn, how we interact with classmates and teachers, and our overall enthusiasm for the same subjects is not a one-size-fits-all situation. Everyone learns at their own pace and in their own style. Edtech tools make it easier for teachers to create individualized lesson plans and learning experiences. It fosters a sense of inclusivity. In addition, it boost the learning capabilities of all students, no matter their age or learning abilities.
